David P Jacobs, director, has over a number of years, by working in many different business and IS/IT environments, developed in-depth skills and structures for significantly improving levels of success and Business Value obtained from IS/IT projects. This has led to the development of The Profit Business Value Approach™, the pragmatic framework now used by Profit from Information to help companies improve their success rates and levels of value and benefits.

David says: “I have spent over 25 years getting the best for the business from IS/IT in many sectors including air cargo, education, financial services, insurance, manufacturing and telecommunications. When, during this time, I found a persistent lack of understanding in companies around the nature of gaining business value from IS/IT and a lack of coherent techniques for doing so I addressed the problem by producing my own Business Value Approach.
